Dave Portnoy Confirms Romance with Camryn D’Aloia After Past Relationship

NEW YORK, NY — Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, has confirmed he is dating Camryn D'Aloia. The announcement comes nearly a year after the couple was first seen together at a Boston Celtics game in April 2024.

During an appearance on the “Drop A Pin” podcast aired April 20, 2025, Portnoy, 48, shared a dramatic story of being rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard after his boat lost power off the coast of Nantucket, Massachusetts, last July.

“I thought about jumping off [the boat] at one point,” he admitted. When asked about his mother’s presence on the boat, Portnoy clarified that he was with D’Aloia initially. “It was myself and Cam, the girl I’m dating. I was like, ‘You have to get off and tell somebody, I have no communication.’ So she dove off and went home to call the harbor master,” he explained.

Portnoy first attracted media attention with D’Aloia during Game 4 of the Celtics’ first-round playoff series against the Miami Heat. They were captured on camera together, leading to speculation about their relationship. Portnoy later remarked that it was a “very unfortunate set of circumstances” since he was still recovering from a breakup with influencer Silvana Mojica.

Mojica and Portnoy dated for three years before their split in November 2023. Portnoy expressed regret over the breakup, stating, “I just didn’t think I could give Silvana kind of what she deserves.” Mojica had opened up about their breakup in an emotional TikTok post.

Despite this being a new relationship for Portnoy, he has kept some aspects of his personal life private. He refers to D’Aloia simply as “Cam” in public discussions. They have been spotted together at events, and their chemistry has caught the attention of fans.

As Portnoy navigates public scrutiny surrounding his relationships, he continues to share insights into his life. He humorously recalled buying different tickets at a Celtics game to avoid being photographed again, stating, “We did not want to be on camera.” Both Portnoy and D’Aloia seem to be enjoying this new chapter together as they forge their relationship in the public eye.
