DAZN to Launch New Boxing Talk Show with Mannix and Mora

LOS ANGELES, April 10, 2025 — DAZN is set to expand its boxing coverage with a new series titled “Fighter and The Writer,” premiering on Friday, April 11. The weekly talk show will feature veteran boxing journalist Chris Mannix alongside former world champion Sergio Mora, delivering insights and debates on the latest developments in the sport.

The show will be accessible on the DAZN streaming platform, as well as on the DAZN Boxing YouTube channel and across various social media platforms. Mannix, who is also an analyst for DAZN and covers boxing for Sports Illustrated, expressed excitement about the new venture. “I respect Sergio more than anyone in boxing,” Mannix stated in a press release. “I also disagree with virtually everything he says. It’s been a blast debating him on broadcast, in podcasts, and way too many late-night text messages. I’m excited to continue the conversation here.”

Sergio Mora, known as “The Latin Snake” during his fighting career, holds a professional record of 29 wins, 5 losses, and 2 draws, with 9 wins coming by knockout. Mora voiced his enthusiasm for the collaboration, saying, “Mannix may be a man that can’t fight, but he can sure talk and write. I enjoy our verbal sparring sessions.
