MIAMI, Florida – Bryson DeChambeau surged to the top of the leaderboard at LIV Golf Miami on Saturday, posting a 2-under-par 70 amidst challenging, windy conditions at Trump National Doral.

DeChambeau, who is seeking his third individual title in LIV Golf, began his round with an impressive 400-yard drive that set up an early birdie. He continued his strong performance, notching additional birdies on Holes 5, 16, and 17 while managing to offset two bogeys, finishing the day at 5 under for the tournament, two strokes ahead of his closest competitors.

The Crushers GC, DeChambeau’s team, saw no other members land in the Top 14, although they are currently tied for third with Fireballs GC. Both teams sit just three strokes behind Ripper GC, who leads the tournament. The 4Aces GC holds the second position.

Fireballs GC are striving for their fourth consecutive tournament title, benefiting from the performance of their player who finished with a 1-under round, putting him at 3 under overall. His day included birdies on the first, third, and tenth holes, offset by bogeys on the sixth and seventeenth.

Ripper GC’s performance continued to be strong, with another player shooting 1 under to tie for third at 2 under overall. He is now tied with two players who scored 75 and 73 respectively.

As the competition intensifies, spectators await to see if DeChambeau can maintain his lead heading into the final round.
