Detroit Lions Vs Washington Commanders Week 10

DETROIT, Michigan – The Detroit Lions (5-3) and Washington Commanders (3-6) have announced their inactive players ahead of their Week 10 matchup. The game is set to take place this Sunday at Ford Field.

Two notable players on the Lions’ inactive list are Kerby Joseph and Pat O'Connor, both sidelined due to knee injuries. Joseph’s absence marks his third consecutive game missed as he continues to recover. Head coach Dan Campbell confirmed the team is being cautious with Joseph’s return after he re-injured himself earlier this season.

The Lions, however, have received good news regarding their starting tackles. Penei Sewell and Taylor Decker, both dealing with shoulder issues, have been cleared to play. Sewell returned to practice this week after a brief absence, while Decker has maintained his spot in the lineup despite a lingering injury from previous games.

On the other side, the Commanders are suffering from significant injuries as well. Quarterback Jayden Daniels is out with an elbow injury, and star wide receiver Terry McLaurin will not play either, complicating their offensive strategy. Marcus Mariota is expected to lead the team against the Lions.

This matchup is seen as crucial for the Lions to regain their momentum following a few struggling performances. With the Commanders dealing with many injuries, this could be an opportunity for Detroit to bounce back. Coach Campbell expressed optimism about his team’s potential heading into the game.

As the Lions prepare, they still have a competitive edge with their lineup, expecting Dan Skipper to join the offense after being listed as questionable. Meanwhile, the Commanders have listed multiple players inactive, raising concerns about their ability to compete.
