The Detroit Lions faced significant setbacks in their Week 12 game against the Indianapolis Colts, with two key players suffering injuries. Running back David Montgomery was listed as questionable to return due to a shoulder injury he sustained during the game. Despite the initial hope for his return, Montgomery did not re-enter the game.
In addition to Montgomery’s injury, wide receiver and special teams player Kalif Raymond was also hurt during the game. Raymond was injured during a punt return when he took a massive hit and was subsequently carted off the sidelines. The severity of his injury is yet to be fully disclosed.
