Such moves indicate the club’s commitment to both competition and fan engagement. Despite the early success, questions linger about the long-term sustainability of their roster, particularly in the face of injuries that have already tested the team’s depth.

Manager Dave Roberts expressed confidence in star player Shohei Ohtani, who has been cautious in his anticipated return to pitching. The organization aims to have him contribute actively in October, which solidifies the urgency for roster adjustments now. “We’re managing Ohtani’s return carefully because we want to make sure he can deliver his best when we need it the most,” Roberts said.
