Dollywood Reopens After Water Main Break, Honoring Ticket Holders

Dollywood, the popular theme park located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, has reopened its doors to the public after a temporary closure due to a water main break. The park, which had to shut down on July 17, welcomed guests back on July 18 as scheduled.

Pete Owens, a spokesperson for Dollywood, expressed apologies for the inconvenience caused by the closure. He stated that efforts were made to repair the water main break swiftly, with maintenance teams from Dollywood collaborating with crews from the City of Pigeon Forge to resolve the issue.

All admission tickets, parking passes, and locker receipts from the affected day, July 17, will be honored upon the next visit for guests who were unable to enjoy the park on that date. Additionally, refunds can be requested for those who had to leave early or could not enter the park by contacting 1-800-Dollywood.

The water main break, a rare occurrence according to Owens, prompted an early closure of the theme park on July 17. Despite the challenges faced, Dollywood ensured that guests were accommodated with rain checks and refunds promptly.
