Dominik Mysterio Promises WrestleMania Victory After Three Losses

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Dominik Mysterio, a rising star in WWE, is determined to turn his WrestleMania record around this year at WrestleMania 41. With a history of disappointing performances, Mysterio, 27, expressed confidence during a recent interview that he will finally secure a victory at the prestigious event in Las Vegas.
“Of course. What do you think? I wanna be defeated at WrestleMania? No, I’m 0-3 at WrestleMania, so if for whatever reason I find myself at WrestleMania this year in Las Vegas, [the record] is going to be 1-3, I promise you that,” Mysterio stated.
Dominik’s WrestleMania journey began in 2022 when he and his father, Rey Mysterio, lost a tag team match against The Miz and Logan Paul. The following year, Dominik faced Rey in a highly anticipated singles match, turning against his father in a dramatic storyline. Despite his aggressive build-up and support from Bad Bunny, Dominik was defeated once again.
In 2024, Dominik partnered with Santos Escobar in a tag match against Rey Mysterio and Andrade, who were also supported by the Latino World Order. The outcome remained the same, with Dominik experiencing yet another loss, further frustrating his ambitions on the grand stage.
Recently, Dominik had an altercation with fellow wrestler Penta during an interview at the Royal Rumble weekend, which heightened speculation about a potential matchup at WrestleMania 41. Dominik criticized Penta, saying, “F**k him,” after being asked about him, to which Penta responded by smacking Dominik’s hat off his head. The tension could signal a brewing rivalry as WrestleMania approaches.
Penta, who joined WWE in January after leaving AEW, quickly made a name for himself with impressive performances in the ring, including victories over established competitors like Chad Gable and WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.
When reflecting on his WrestleMania career, Dominik Mysterio remains adamant that he is prepared to break his losing streak. The determination shown in his statements showcases a desire to not only win but to make a mark on the biggest event in wrestling. As WrestleMania 41 draws near, all eyes will be on Dominik to see if he can finally claim a victory on the grandest stage of them all.
