In a Sunday Instagram post, former United States President Donald Trump raised eyebrows by questioning his alleged resemblance to the legendary singer, Elvis Presley. Sharing a photo of himself alongside Elvis, Trump asked his followers for their thoughts on the matter. However, the similarity between the two public figures does not appear evident at first glance, as pointed out by numerous commenters.

Over the years, people have frequently noted the supposed physical likeness between Trump and Presley. However, the comparison fails to convince many observers. Despite the brunette versus blonde hair, blue versus green eyes, and differences in skin tone, the connection between the politician and the iconic singer remains elusive. Unimpressed comments flooded Trump’s Instagram post, dismissing the comparison as absurd.

Although Trump can now freely share his thoughts on Instagram, he faced a ban from major social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp following the Capitol insurrection on January 6, 2021. However, this ban was lifted two years later by Meta Group, headed by CEO Mark Zuckerberg, to avoid hindering the 2024 presidential campaign.

Emphasizing the importance of open and democratic discussions on its platforms, Meta allowed Trump to resume his social media presence. Meanwhile, the former president ventured into the world of social media with his own platform called “TRUTH Social.” On this platform, Trump continues his habit of writing messages in all capital letters.

In the political realm, Trump remains a prominent figure, positioning himself as a Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential election against Joe Biden. With his unique communication style, Trump maintains a significant following and continues to make headlines with his controversial statements and actions.
