Rbc Heritage 2025 Golf Tournament

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. — The 2025 RBC Heritage kicks off its third round on Saturday morning at Harbour Town Golf Links, with $20 million on the line. Justin Thomas currently leads the tournament, holding a two-shot advantage at 12-under par.

Thomas, the 18- and 36-hole leader, previously tied the course record with a score of 61 in the first round. After a solid second-round score of 69, he is well-positioned to secure his first win since the 2022 PGA Championship. However, he faces stiff competition from several top golfers, including Si Woo Kim and Russell Henley, who are both at 10-under par, as well as defending champion Scottie Scheffler, who sits at 8-under.

The RBC Heritage is notable for its strong field of players, attracting many of the best golfers. This year, players have been eager to perform after the Masters, with most professionals making the short trip from Augusta, Georgia, to Hilton Head Island. Rory McIlroy, the Masters champion, is absent as he celebrates his career grand slam back in Northern Ireland.

“I just need to keep playing my game and avoid making mistakes,” Thomas said in a pre-round interview. “I feel good about my chances, but there’s plenty of golf left to be played.”
