Drew Mcintyre John Cena Elimination Chamber Promo Toronto

TORONTO, Canada — Ahead of the WWE Elimination Chamber set for Saturday, Drew McIntyre has escalated tensions with John Cena, declaring his intent to ‘bury’ the 16-time world champion. In a fiery social media promo, McIntyre addressed Cena’s absence from the ring since he announced himself as the first entrant in the Elimination Chamber match, where both will compete alongside Logan Paul, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Damian Priest.

“Four weeks ago, Cena sat in that press room after the Rumble and said, ‘All of you in the Elimination Chamber match can literally bury me when I’m not here, and I’ll see you all in Toronto,’” McIntyre said. “Maybe it was some clever reverse psychology because I’m watching and waiting, and nobody has said a thing besides Punk’s little, ‘Hey, he put himself in the match.’”

The Scottish wrestler expressed skepticism about his peers’ lack of response to Cena’s challenge, questioning their confidence and their willingness to offend the WWE’s ‘golden goose.’ “It’s not 2010. Are we worried he won’t wanna do business?” McIntyre added.

McIntyre’s personal history with Cena dates back years, and he believes Cena may not even recall their past encounters. “I’m not a kid anymore, I’m not a fan. I’m a big, angry psychopath you’re locked inside the Chamber with,” he warned. “You compromised all your values with that move. Was it really your values or just words and phrases to sell t-shirts? Either way, I don’t care.”

Despite acknowledging Cena’s status as a significant figure in wrestling, McIntyre challenged the merit of Cena’s participation in the Elimination Chamber by drawing attention to his star power. “Your main point is—you’re a big star, and that’s what’s best for business. The short term? Absolutely. But going by your logic, we could put Sydney Sweeney in the Elimination Chamber, and it would be twice as big,” he said.

As the match approaches, McIntyre hinted that he believes Cena is underestimating the fight he’s about to face. “I’m a two-time winner inside the Chamber looking to tie your record. I’m locked in, and there’s no more BS distractions,” he stated.

“We got a lot of talking to do. And if you think you’re walking out of the Chamber with a clear road to WrestleMania, you’re mistaken. I’m gonna make sure you’re kept safe, John. Inside that Chamber—until it’s my time to bury you,” McIntyre concluded.
