Earth Wind & Fire Toledo Zoo Concert 2024

TOLEDO, Ohio — Legendary music group Earth, Wind & Fire and country star Billy Currington will headline two separate concerts at the Toledo Zoo Amphitheater this summer, event organizers announced Monday.

Earth, Wind & Fire, the nine-time Grammy-winning group, will perform on July 29. Known for hits like “September” and “Let’s Groove,” the band has sold over 100 million albums worldwide and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000. This marks their return to the Toledo Zoo Amphitheater after a 2019 performance.

Billy Currington, a country music star with 12 No. 1 singles, will take the stage on Sept. 5 as part of his 2025 tour. The Toledo stop is the only announced date in Ohio or Michigan for Currington’s tour. Known for hits such as “People Are Crazy” and “Good Directions,” Currington has released multiple Platinum-certified albums and continues to produce new music.

Tickets for Earth, Wind & Fire go on sale to the general public Friday at 10 a.m., while Currington’s tickets will be available starting Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. Presale information is available on the event’s official website.

Earth, Wind & Fire, formed in 1969 by Maurice White, has released 23 albums, eight of which went Double Platinum and reached the Top 10. The group received a Lifetime Achievement Grammy in 2012 and was honored with Kennedy Center Honors in 2019. Currington, a Georgia native, has recently released new tracks, including “Everything Is Changing” and “Anchor Man.”
