Edmonton Oilers’ Corey Perry Reaches Double-Digit Goal Mark This Season
Edmonton Oilers forward Corey Perry hit a milestone this season as he notched his 10th goal in Saturday’s 6-3 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Perry’s goal came on the power play and he fired five shots on net while delivering two hits during the game.
Prior to this scoring play, Perry had struggled to find the back of the net, managing just one assist in his last six games.
Lately, the seasoned winger has been carving a role on the Oilers’ second power-play unit, which has proven fruitful for him.
His total now stands at 10 goals, earning him 18 points, 62 shots on goal, 35 hits, 37 penalty minutes, and a minus-4 rating across 40 games splitting time between Edmonton and the Chicago Blackhawks this campaign.
