He also secured a spot on the OUA West First All-Star Team and the OUA West All-Rookie Team, solidifying his reputation as a promising young talent in the world of hockey.
During the playoffs, Ungar played a crucial role in Brock’s journey, helping them secure a quarter-final victory over Windsor and advance to the 2024 University Cup tournament where they ultimately fell to the University of New Brunswick Reds. Throughout the postseason, Ungar maintained a strong performance with a 3-3 record, 2.33 GAA, and .928 save percentage.

Ungar’s experience in the 2023 WHL Playoffs, where he played a vital role in Moose Jaw’s advancement to the second round with a 6-3-1 record, further highlights his ability to perform under pressure in high-stakes situations.
With this signing, Ungar will join the Edmonton Oilers’ AHL affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors, where he will have the opportunity to continue his development and contribute to the team’s success in the future. The Edmonton Oilers are confident in Ungar’s potential and look forward to seeing him excel in his professional hockey career.
