49ers' Deebo Samuel Ruled Out Of Nfc Divisional Round Game With Shoulder Injury

San Francisco 49ers‘ wide receiver Deebo Samuel has been ruled out of the NFC Divisional Round game against the Green Bay Packers due to a left shoulder injury.

The injury occurred during the 49ers’ second drive of the game, leading Samuel to leave the field and be evaluated in the locker room. He was initially designated as questionable but was later declared out for the remainder of the game.

Prior to the shoulder injury, Samuel had also been evaluated for a head injury during the team’s first drive. Although he was cleared from the head injury, he unfortunately suffered the shoulder injury later in the game.

Samuel finished the game with two catches for 24 yards. Throughout the regular season, he recorded 60 catches for 892 yards and seven touchdowns in 15 games. The 49ers were 0-2 in the two games Samuel missed, including a three-game losing streak that started when he injured his shoulder in Week 6 against the Browns.

Despite Samuel’s absence, the 49ers still have a talented group of playmakers including George Kittle, Brandon Aiyuk, and Kendrick Bourne to rely on for the remainder of the game.
