The EuroLeague is set to deliver a thrilling series of games as the first double-round week of the season unfolds. A total of eight matchups are scheduled, commencing on Tuesday evening at various venues across Europe.

The action kicks off at 19:30 CET in Berlin, where ALBA, still searching for its first season victory with a record of 0-2, will face ASVEL, who currently stand at 1-1. Shortly after, at 19:45 CET, two undefeated teams, Fenerbahce and Crvena Zvezda, both boasting 2-0 records, will clash. This particular game is anticipated to be significant for Fenerbahce’s recent acquisition, Boban Marjanovic, as he confronts his former team for the first time since his stint with them between 2013 and 2015.

In another intriguing encounter, Maccabi and Anadolu Efes, both holding 1-1 records, will battle it out in Belgrade at 20:05 CET. This match provides a crucial opportunity for each team to bounce back after recent setbacks.

At 20:15 CET, Olympiacos and Milan, similarly positioned at 1-1, will face off, each eager to continue building on their recent successes. Virtus Bologna, currently struggling at 0-2, aims to reverse their fortunes against Zalgiris (1-1) at 20:30 CET. Zalgiris has historically dominated this pairing, having won the last five meetings which date back to 2007.

EuroCup champions Paris, currently 0-2, will seek to secure their first victory of the season against the strong Panathinaikos side, which is undefeated at 2-0. This game is also set for 20:30 CET. Concurrently, a major Spanish showdown will unfold as Baskonia (1-1) takes on Real Madrid (1-1) in a 20:30 CET rematch of last season’s playoffs, where Real Madrid dominated with a 3-0 sweep.

The evening will conclude with a potentially high-scoring confrontation at 20:45 CET. Partizan, who have yet to win a game this season, will host Bayern, each with notable offenses despite significant defensive vulnerabilities. Partizan averages 84 points per game, while Bayern scores an average of 88. However, their defenses have been less effective, conceding 90.5 and 91.5 points per game, respectively.

This double-round week promises to bring an electric atmosphere to EuroLeague fans, with key performances and tactical battles anticipated at every corner.
