Exciting events are set to take place in Sherbrooke this weekend to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The festivities kick off with the traditional St. Patrick’s Day parade in Richmond on Sunday. It will feature floats, marching bands, horses, and more, starting on Craig Street and ending at Adam Street.

For those looking to dance and support a good cause, MPV Country Pop Dance Estrie is hosting a St. Patrick’s themed dance party on Saturday evening at Sercovie. Proceeds from the event will go to the Epilepsy Foundation.

Students from the theatre and music departments at Bishop’s University are collaborating to present the award-winning musical ‘Spring Awakening’ at the Centennial Theatre from March 14 to 17. This marks the first time the musical will be presented in Sherbrooke with English performances and French subtitles.

The Theatre de l’Insomnie will be showcasing the comedy play ‘Le Faiseur’ at the Théâtre Léonard-St-Laurent starting on March 15. This adaptation brings a contemporary twist to the original story ‘Mercadet’ by Honoré de Balzac.
