Exciting Matchday Events Planned for Fans at Bank of America Stadium

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Sports fans can expect an action-packed matchday experience as the Charlotte FC prepares to host its upcoming game at Bank of America Stadium. The events will begin early before kickoff, offering fans numerous activities to participate in, including tailgating, live entertainment, and special giveaways.

The ticket office opens at 9:00 a.m., with parking lots available starting at 10:30 a.m., allowing fans to secure their spots ahead of time. Those eager to get an early start can join the Supporters Tailgate, which begins at 10:00 a.m. The pre-match party will be held between the North Gate and East Gate in Legends Row from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., featuring various vendors and activities.

At the tailgate, fans can enter the Ally Racing Open Road Sweepstakes for a chance to win a truck, camper, and VIP NASCAR experience. Free samples of the new Bo Berry Chicken Waffle from Bojangles will also be available while supplies last. Additionally, attendees can enjoy a giant soccer skeeball game hosted by Ally, who will showcase their community initiatives through local engagement opportunities.

The matchday schedule includes a special warm-up at 1:35 p.m. and a pre-match show beginning at 2:15 p.m., with kickoff slated for 2:25 p.m. The first fans to arrive will receive a limited-edition CLTFC snapback hat, courtesy of Ally.

Fans are reminded to have their mobile tickets ready upon entry. All entry points facilitate tap access via mobile wallets or barcode scans from the Charlotte FC app, ensuring an efficient check-in process.

As part of enhancing the matchday experience, the Bank of America Stadium has also implemented RFID technology in its Team Store, streamlining the shopping experience. Fans will find a variety of concession options across the stadium, including regional specialties such as Southern Pimento Cheese Dogs and Southern Fried Chicken Drumsticks.

Also, for those needing accommodations, the stadium is now Sensory Inclusive Certified in partnership with KultureCity, offering sensory kits and a visual preview of stadium features through their app.

For fans arriving at Subaru Park for the Philadelphia Union vs. FC Cincinnati, the gates will open at 6:00 p.m. ET, with parking available starting at 2:30 p.m. The Union will kick off their home opener with enhancements including upgraded audio throughout the venue, creating a more immersive atmosphere.
