Logan Paul Rhea Ripley Wwe Backstage Encounter

STAMFORD, Conn. — WWE fans reacted strongly on social media after a recent awkward interaction between Logan Paul and Rhea Ripley backstage, leading to growing calls for Paul to steer clear of female WWE wrestlers.

The incident gained attention when Ripley described her unsettling experience with a fan who showed up at her residence uninvited. ‘I opened the door to this strange fan who just stood there for about 15 minutes with a creepy smile,’ Ripley recounted in a video clip that has since circulated online.

During a subsequent backstage video chat, Ripley spoke with Paul about the stalking incident. However, the discussion quickly turned uncomfortable as Paul used the moment to promote his merchandise, plugging his T-shirt as the video concluded. Fans expressed their displeasure, suggesting that he was exploiting Ripley’s serious situation for personal gain.

Responses on X, formerly known as Twitter, largely condemned Paul’s behavior. One user wrote, ‘It’s incredibly insensitive for him to publicize a personal issue like that,’ while another criticized, ‘This dude has no class.’ The backlash highlights the growing discontent among fans concerning Paul’s presence in WWE.

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash also weighed in last year during his podcast, ‘Kliq This,’ stating, ‘He’s not one of the boys. Where would he learn that sh*t at? Where is he going up and down talking jargon? There is no interaction. There is no socialization.’

Nash further lambasted Paul’s lucrative deal with WWE, saying, ‘He’s making five million bucks for limited dates. All the other guys are out there making house shows, fu*k you. Fu*k you.’ Nash’s remarks resonate with many within the wrestling community who feel that social media fame shouldn’t automatically translate to respect in the wrestling world.

As these controversies unfold, Logan Paul is preparing to compete in the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match later this week, a significant opportunity for the influencer turned wrestler. Should he win, it would mark his first headlining match in pursuit of the Undisputed WWE Championship.
