HOUGHTON, Michigan — The No. 1 Ferris State Bulldogs secured their spot at the top of the rankings with a commanding 38-10 victory over the No. 16 Michigan Tech Huskies on October 18, 2025. The Bulldogs’ defense was the star of the game, recording five interceptions in the first half, including a remarkable pick-six by Ahlston Ware.

Despite facing struggles on offense, quarterback Wyatt Bower found a way to lead his team to victory, throwing for three touchdown passes and rushing for another. Carson Gulker was a key target, scoring two touchdowns, while Taariik Brett contributed with one touchdown of his own.
