Singapore Grand Prix 2024 Marina Bay Street Circuit

The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) has officially confirmed the starting grid for the upcoming Singapore Grand Prix, set to take place at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. This development follows a closely contested qualifying session, with drivers eager to secure advantageous positions on the grid for Sunday’s race.

In an impressive display of skill and strategy, one driver notably outperformed his chief championship rival, securing pole position. Remarkably, both competitors will start side by side on the front row. Despite a rival team changing multiple components on one of its Ferraris, the grid remains unchanged.

Further down the grid, a driver, who had previously expressed doubts about reaching Q3, delivered an unexpected performance by setting the third-fastest lap time. Another driver, in a competitive fightback, will start in fourth place.

On the contrary, a frustrating session unfolded for a driver from the Red Bull team. He was eliminated in Q2 and will begin the race from 13th position, following a less-than-ideal finish in Azerbaijan. Meanwhile, another driver from the RB team was also eliminated early, exiting in Q1, whereas his teammate secured eighth position in a notable Q3 session.

The official timings post-qualifying are as follows:1. [ ] – 1:29.525sec2. [Red Bull] – +0.203sec3. [ ] – +0.316sec4. [Mercedes] – +0.342sec5. Oscar Piastri [McLaren] – +0.428sec6.
