Filipowski Moves to Bench Ahead of Celtics Game

Boston, MA — Kyle Filipowski will not start in Friday’s matchup against the Boston Celtics, transitioning to the bench after a series of impressive starts.
Despite his shift to a reserve role, Filipowski’s recent performance remains noteworthy. Over the past month, he has averaged 15.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 0.8 steals across 24.4 minutes in 11 games, five of which he started. His ability to contribute from the bench may mitigate concerns regarding his fantasy impact.
“I’ve been comfortable whether I’m starting or coming off the bench,” Filipowski said. “I just want to help the team win, and I’ll do whatever it takes to do that.”
In a separate development, Potter is also shifting roles, moving back to the bench for Wednesday’s game against the Washington Wizards. After starting in the previous game against the Chicago Bulls, Potter has averaged 7.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 1.0 steals in his last five outings from the second unit.
“I’m ready to support my teammates, regardless of my role. It’s about making the most of my minutes,” Potter stated.
Both players are adapting as they navigate the changing dynamics of the lineup, with Filipowski’s and Potter’s contributions being vital as the team approaches the end of the season.
