Former Ihopkc Leader Accused Of Sexual Abuse By Second Victim

The former founder and leader of the International House of Prayer (IHOPKC), Mike Bickle, is facing new allegations of sexual abuse by a second victim, Tammy Woods. Woods, now 57, has come forward with accusations of abuse that took place in the early 1980s when she was just 14 years old. She revealed that the abuse occurred in various locations, including Bickle’s car, office, the church, and even her own home.

Woods detailed how the abuse allegedly started with kissing but escalated to fondling and other sexual acts. She described a pattern of emotional manipulation by Bickle, who reportedly made false promises and convinced her that they could be together. This comes after another victim, identified as Jane Doe, made similar allegations last year.

The alleged abuse began when Woods, then a teenager, met Bickle through church connections in St. Louis. Bickle, who was in a position of authority within the church, reportedly took advantage of this relationship by manipulating and grooming Woods. Despite the years that have passed, Woods decided to speak out after seeing similar accusations against Bickle from another victim.

Following the initial allegations by Jane Doe, IHOPKC launched an investigation into Bickle’s conduct and eventually decided to permanently separate from him. Bickle admitted to past misconduct but denied some of the more serious allegations made against him. The organization’s attorney, Audrey Manito, has been involved in handling the fallout from these accusations.

While Bickle has expressed regret for his actions and acknowledged inappropriate behavior, Woods’ account sheds new light on the extent of the alleged abuse she suffered at the hands of the former IHOPKC leader. The impact of these revelations has reverberated within the religious community where Bickle was once a prominent figure.
