Beginning his career at Liverpool under the guidance of the legendary Bill Shankly, Lloyd enjoyed significant success, clinching the top division title and a UEFA Cup triumph during his tenure from 1969 to 1974.
After stints at Coventry and successful spells with Forest, Lloyd played a crucial role in Forest’s meteoric rise under manager Brian Clough, lifting the league title in 1978 and consecutive European Cups in 1979 and 1980.
