Fsu Vs Georgia Tech Basketball Game 2025

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida State University‘s men’s basketball team (12-5, 3-3 ACC) is set to face Georgia Tech (8-10, 2-5 ACC) at the Donald L. Tucker Center on Saturday at noon ET. The Seminoles are looking to close their two-game homestand with a win before heading west for upcoming road games.

FSU is coming off a significant victory against Pitt on Wednesday, where senior forward recorded his third consecutive double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. The Seminoles’ win boosted their NCAA Evaluation Tool (NET) ranking to No. 64, positioning them on the edge of postseason consideration.

Georgia Tech, picked to finish 12th in the ACC preseason media poll, has struggled this season, sitting at 155th in the NET rankings. The Yellow Jackets are on a three-game losing streak and have been hampered by injuries, with three starters missing their recent game against Clemson.

Despite their challenges, Georgia Tech has historically performed well against FSU, winning five of the last seven matchups. Senior guard Lance Terry, averaging 15.4 points per game, leads the Yellow Jackets, though his availability for Saturday’s game is uncertain due to a hand injury.

FSU has dominated at home, winning the last six meetings against Georgia Tech at the Tucker Center. The Seminoles are 7-2 at home this season and aim to capitalize on their momentum heading into the second half of conference play.

The game will be broadcast on ESPNU, with tip-off scheduled for noon ET.
