FSU Quarterback Enters Transfer Portal Amid Roster Changes

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida State University quarterback has announced plans to enter the transfer portal, a move that could reshape the Seminoles’ quarterback depth chart.
This decision comes just after one season as a redshirt freshman on the scout team, where he made a single game appearance. The news was initially reported by the Tallahassee Democrat.
The 6-foot-3, 191-pound dual-threat quarterback from Winter Gardens, who was a four-star prospect at Jones High School, has four years of eligibility remaining. His decision follows a stint at FSU, where he initially walked on and turned down offers from schools such as Missouri, Texas A&M, and UCLA.
Florida State’s quarterback roster will continue to adjust with Jackson’s departure. Currently, the Seminoles have four quarterbacks, including three on scholarship.
