The Golden Knights advanced by defeating the Minnesota Wild 3-2 in Game 6 of their first-round series, while the Oilers eliminated the Los Angeles Kings with a 6-4 victory in their own Game 6.
The Golden Knights, the top seed from the Pacific Division, will enjoy home-ice advantage in the best-of-7 series against the third-seeded Oilers. This matchup marks a rematch from the 2023 playoffs, where Vegas triumphed against Edmonton in six games.
