Grammy-Nominated Artist Shaboozey to Perform at 2024 Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Halftime Show
The Detroit Lions have announced that the 85th annual Thanksgiving Halftime Show, powered by Verizon, will feature a performance by 6X GRAMMY-nominated artist Shaboozey. The show is part of the Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Classic, a tradition that dates back to 1934.
Shaboozey, known for his standout features on Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” album, has recently gained significant attention with his latest work. His album “Where I’ve been, Isn’t Where I’m Going” debuted in the top five of the Billboard 200. Additionally, his single “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” has broken records on Billboard’s Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck charts, holding the longest reign of 2024 at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Classic, which includes the highly anticipated halftime show, will air on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. on CBS. This event continues the long-standing tradition of the Detroit Lions playing on Thanksgiving Day, a custom that has been a staple of American football since 1934.
