Greg Biffle Appeals for Help After Losing Kia Rental Keys at Daytona

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. β Former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle is seeking assistance from his Instagram followers after misplacing the keys to his rental Kia car at the Daytona International Speedway, just ahead of the iconic Daytona 500.
Biffle, who has a substantial following of 125,000 on Instagram, took to the platform to request help on the evening of February 15, 2025. He expressed frustration over the lost keys, emphasizing their importance as he prepared for one of the sport’s biggest events.
“If anyone found, picked up, or went home with Kia rental keys last night from the Daytona track or the hangar valet, let me know lol… π¬π¬,” Biffle wrote in his Instagram story.
The Vancouver native is not competing in this yearβs Daytona 500 but is present at the event, expressing his love for the experience. Biffle has a storied history with NASCAR, including a career characterized by 19 Cup Series victories from 2003 to 2016 while driving for Roush Fenway Racing. His last full-time season ended with his retirement, though he returned to participate in five races for NY Racing Team during the 2022 season.
In his illustrious career, Biffle has competed in the Daytona 500 15 times, finishing in the top ten on six occasions. Though he has yet to win the prestigious race, he achieved notable success by earning pole position in 2004 and finishing 12th that year.
As the race approaches, Biffle reflects on the significance of the Daytona 500. He previously stated, “It’s the greatest thing ever,” and expressed a desire to race in the event again in the future. “Iβm talking to some different guys about it, and weβll see if something transpires. Who doesnβt want to run the Great American Race?”
In a follow-up message, he reassured fans of his presence at the event, regardless of his role. “Iβll be there one way or another, whether as a spectator or holding on the wheel. I love that time of the year in Daytona,” Biffle added.
As he navigates the lead-up to the race, Biffle continues to search for his lost keys, hoping for a swift reunion.
