Cleveland Guardians Vs Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Game

TORONTO — The Cleveland Guardians are looking to take the series against the Toronto Blue Jays after a thrilling comeback victory on Saturday. The final game is set for Sunday at 1:37 p.m. EDT and can be viewed on CLEGuardians.TV and various streaming platforms.

Right-hander Tanner Bibee (2-2, 4.36 ERA) is scheduled to start for the Guardians, while Bowden Francis (2-4, 5.28) takes the mound for Toronto. Francis, who leads the majors in home runs allowed with 11, struggled in his last outing against Boston, giving up five home runs. Bibee is just behind him, having allowed nine home runs this season.

The Guardians secured Saturday’s game with a dramatic performance from Daniel Schneemann, who filled in for All-Star third baseman José Ramírez. Schneemann hit his first grand slam with two outs in the ninth inning, turning a 3-0 deficit into a stunning 5-3 win for Cleveland. He became only the fifth player in franchise history to achieve such a feat.

With this win, the Guardians improved to 5-6 against American League East competitors and 8-9 in road games this season. The last Cleveland player to hit a game-winning grand slam in the ninth was Travis Hafner on June 28, 2005, against the Red Sox.

Fans can catch the action on Sunday at Rogers Centre as the Guardians aim to clinch the series against the Blue Jays, who currently sit at 16-17 this season.
