Gulf Coast Jam Faces Weather Delays Ahead of Opening Day

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Florida — Large crowds are expected at Frank Brown Park for the final day of the 2025 Gulf Coast Jam on June 1. The festival runs from May 29 to June 1, featuring performances from artists like Brian Fuller, Jake Kohn, Mackenzie Carpenter, Dasha, Megan Moroney, and headliner Blake Shelton.
Will call opens at noon, while early entry starts at 1:30 p.m., with the main gates set to open at 2 p.m. The National Weather Service in Tallahassee reports near zero percent chance of rain on June 1, with temperatures projected between 79 to 87 degrees.
Despite previous weather delays, the event is still on track for its opening day on May 29. A Facebook post from Gulf Coast Jam indicates that parking lots and will call are tentatively scheduled to open at 4 p.m. Early entry will commence at 5:45 p.m., with all gates opening at 6 p.m.
This same post announced that Jordan Davis is set to perform at 6:55 p.m. The musical lineup for 2026 will be released at 8:20 p.m., followed by headliner Sam Hunt taking the stage at 8:45 p.m. “Bring your rain gear,” the post advised, highlighting that any changes depend on the weather.
However, several performances scheduled for May 29 were canceled due to severe storm forecasts. Artists including NEEDTOBREATHE, Restless Road, Angie K, and Jason Byrd will not perform. Officials noted, “We will have more information after this afternoon’s storm but the plan is to open gates in the early evening and to provide a great time, subject to weather changes.”
As of 11:20 a.m., a Facebook post had garnered around 160 reactions, over 150 comments, and nearly 60 shares, reflecting the event’s high anticipation. The team expressed their commitment to provide a safe environment, indicating, “We are watching things closely and diligently.”
Updates regarding the situation will continue to be shared, as event officials coordinate with city authorities and the National Weather Service.
