ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — The Hardy Boyz, dynamic wrestling duo Matt and Jeff Hardy, are set to perform at the Civic Arena on March 28 and 29 as part of TNA‘s ‘iMPACT!’ The event marks their return to St. Joseph after more than a decade, showcasing their innovation and passion for professional wrestling.

Originating from humble beginnings, the Hardy brothers started their wrestling journey in their backyard, using a trampoline as their makeshift ring. ‘We built a makeshift ring on our trampoline. I had to emulate what we saw on TV and almost started self-training ourselves,’ Matt Hardy recalled.

Raised in Cameron, North Carolina, the brothers faced tragedy early in life with the passing of their mother due to a brain tumor. Their father, who worked tirelessly, inspired the brothers to pursue their dreams. ‘We both wanted to be professional baseball players at first until we discovered pro wrestling. We thought this is the coolest thing ever,’ said Matt.

With over 30 years of wrestling experience, Jeff Hardy expressed gratitude for the opportunity to perform at TNA, emphasizing the importance of their ongoing success. ‘Now, 47 years into this life, man… to still be performing at the level we are, I’m just so grateful for TNA to give us a place to shine again,’ he stated.

Beyond their wrestling careers, the Hardy Boyz prioritize family, grounding them amid fame. ‘Meditation has been a huge benefit for me as far as getting away from the ring. Most importantly, being the best father and constantly trying to be the best husband I can be,’ Jeff said.

Matt echoed similar sentiments regarding his home life. ‘When I get home, I just want to be super dad and play with my kids as much as possible. On top of that, I have a wife who is a Puerto Rican from New York, so she’s not going to let me get the big head in any capacity.’

As they prepare for their upcoming appearance in St. Joseph, both brothers are excited about reconnecting with fans. ‘We are expecting a lot of love and enthusiasm. It’s just cool how we’ve almost become something even more in some ways than pro wrestlers. We’re like these generational influencers,’ Jeff said.

Fans wishing to see the Hardy Boyz in action are encouraged to attend the March shows at the Civic Arena.
