Pakistan‘s cricket player Haris Rauf has found himself in hot water after a video surfaced showing him in a heated exchange with a fan on the sidewalk, leading to significant backlash.

The video, which emerged on social media platforms, captures Rauf engaging with some unidentified individuals while his wife and another person attempt to restrain him.

Hailing from Pakistan, the 30-year-old cricketer represents the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League and has recently been part of the Pakistani national team in the T20 World Cup.

Rauf later took to Twitter to address the incident, implying that the altercation was triggered by an insult towards his family, emphasizing the importance of showing respect to all individuals regardless of their background or profession.

In response to the video, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released a statement condemning the incident and threatening legal action against those involved if they fail to apologize to Haris Rauf.
