Harrison Bryant Philadelphia Eagles Announcement

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Veteran tight end Harrison Bryant has officially signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, according to NFL Network‘s Ian Rapoport. The agreement was reached on March 13, 2025, marking a new chapter for Bryant as he transitions from the Las Vegas Raiders to a franchise looking to bolster its tight end position.

The 26-year-old Bryant returns to the NFL scene after a season where he recorded nine catches for 86 yards with the Raiders. Drafted in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, Bryant has accumulated 98 receptions totaling 877 yards and 10 touchdowns throughout his career, also contributing on special teams.

The Eagles aim to strengthen their tight end core, particularly following the impact of their franchise tight end, David Njoku, who had a Pro Bowl season in 2023 but faced struggles in 2024 due to injuries. With Bryant’s addition, Philadelphia adds depth and versatility to its offense.

“Harrison brings not only receiving skills but also a strong ability to contribute to special teams,” said Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni in a statement. “We believe he will enhance our dynamic offensive strategy.”

As NFL free agency heats up, teams are actively working to secure talent. The signings come after significant player movement, including multiple quarterback prospects such as Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson still navigating the market. However, the addition of Bryant is a strategic move for the Eagles as they prepare for the 2025 season.

Local fans are eager to see how this move will unfold as free agency progresses, with eager anticipation for Bryant’s impact on the squad.
