NEW YORK CITY, New York — Boxing fans are in for an exciting weekend as top fighters take to the ring across three consecutive nights. The events, hosted by DAZN and ESPN, feature stars like Teofimo Lopez, Devin Haney, Ryan Garcia, and Canelo Alvarez.

The action kicks off Friday night in Times Square, where Lopez will defend his WBO junior welterweight title against Arnold Barboza Jr. Haney is set to take on former champ Jose Ramirez, and Garcia will face Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero in the main event, broadcasting on DAZN PPV.

Lopez, who has experienced ups and downs in his career, is on a quest to reclaim his former glory. He stated, “I’m ready to show everyone the best version of me.” Barboza, known for his boxing skills, aims to spoil Lopez’s night.

On Saturday, Canelo Alvarez will step into the ring for the first time this year. He will face William Scull in a unification bout in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This fight marks Canelo’s first professional appearance outside of Mexico or the United States and will also be available on DAZN.

Fans will enjoy another exciting matchup on Sunday when Naoya Inoue defends his undisputed featherweight championship against Ramon Cardenas. The bout will be aired on ESPN and is expected to highlight Inoue’s knockout skills.

Analysts predict a thrilling weekend, with Garcia’s fight against Romero expected to be particularly explosive. “Both fighters lean on their knockout power, making for a potentially explosive encounter,” said expert James Regan.

As the weekend progresses, boxing enthusiasts are preparing for what appears to be a historic series of fights featuring some of the biggest names in the sport.
