Holland America Partners with ‘Wheel of Fortune’ for Cruise Week
SEATTLE, Wash. — Holland America Line is teaming up with the iconic game show ‘Wheel of Fortune‘ for a first-of-its-kind ‘Cruise Week’ event, airing from Jan. 13-17, 2025. The partnership will feature a nautical-themed set and offer viewers the chance to win 7-day cruises to destinations such as Alaska, the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, and the Caribbean, with airfare included.
This marks the first time a single cruise line has been showcased for an entire week on the long-running game show. The episodes will highlight a different destination each day, with Holland America Line branding prominently displayed on the set, including a pier-inspired backdrop and waving flags.
‘We’ve been sailing for over 150 years, and creating engaging experiences like Cruise Week allows us to connect with both loyal guests and new audiences,’ said Kacy Cole, Chief Marketing Officer at Holland America Line, in a press statement. ‘Showcasing our global destinations on one of television’s most iconic platforms is an exciting way to kick off the year.’
In addition to on-air giveaways, fans at home can enter sweepstakes for a chance to win cruise vacations during segments like ‘Fan Friday‘ and the ‘At-Home Sweepstakes.’ The promotion coincides with Holland America Line’s ‘Start Your Journey Sale,’ which runs from Jan. 13-20, 2025. Travelers can take advantage of $25 deposits on select 2025-2026 cruises, along with perks like balcony upgrades, reduced fares, and onboard credits of up to $400 for bookings made by Jan. 31.
‘By creating our own Cruise Week and partnering with a celebrated show like ‘Wheel of Fortune,’ our sponsorship allows us to connect with a captivated audience who are both avid Holland America Line cruisers and new to our brand,’ Cole added. ‘We look forward to showcasing our global destinations on one of the most iconic wheels in the world.’
