Nfl Hall Of Fame Finalists Torry Holt, Fred Taylor

LOS ANGELES, CA – Torry Holt, wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams, and Fred Taylor, running back for the Jacksonville Jaguars, were once again passed over for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The announcement came Thursday night during NFL Honors.

Holt, a seven-time Pro Bowler known for his exceptional receiving skills, finished his career with 13,382 yards and 74 touchdowns. Despite consistently impressive performances, Holt’s Hall of Fame bid continues to fall short.

Taylor, a standout running back, amassed 11,695 yards and 66 touchdowns during his career. Despite strong performances, Taylor’s candidacy faces challenges due to playing in Jacksonville, a smaller market, and competing with dominant running backs from his era.

The Class of 2025 includes Jared Allen, Sterling Sharpe, Eric Allen, and Antonio Gates. These players received enough votes to secure their spot in Canton.
