India Vs Bangladesh T20 Cricket Match Hyderabad

Suryakumar Yadav and the rest of Team India have arrived in Hyderabad ahead of their third T20 International match against Bangladesh. The Indian cricket team has displayed dominant performances in the ongoing series, having secured unchallenged victories in the first two matches. India now has the opportunity to complete a series whitewash.

The upcoming match holds personal significance for players Nitish Reddy and Tilak Varma, both of whom hail from Hyderabad. Reddy has quickly become one of the standout performers in the series, playing a crucial all-round role that was instrumental in India’s winning effort during the second T20I in Delhi. However, Tilak Varma, despite being part of the Mumbai Indians franchise, has not yet been included in the playing XI, though he might get a chance with India already having clinched the series.

In the previous game, India struggled in the powerplay, losing three wickets for 45 runs in just six overs. The turnaround was effected by the formidable partnership of Reddy and Rinku Singh, which added 108 runs for the fourth wicket in a mere 49 balls. Reddy scored his maiden international half-century, amassing 74 runs from 34 balls, while Rinku Singh contributed 53 runs from 29 balls, leading India to a total of 221/9. Reddy also took two crucial wickets, restricting Bangladesh to a score of 135/9, thus securing an 86-run victory.

Ravi Bishnoi, who was unexpectedly omitted in the first two matches, is anticipated to be brought into the team for the third game, replacing Varun Chakravarthy, who has taken five wickets across the two games. The management may also consider debuting other players as they look to test their bench strength.

India’s probable playing XI for the third T20I is expected to include Jitesh Sharma as wicketkeeper-batsman, replacing Sanju Samson, who opened in former games but could not make a substantial impact. Thus, young players like Harshit Rana might also find a place in the squad to provide fresh energy to the side.

Bangladesh, meanwhile, will aim for redemption in Hyderabad, hoping to extract some positives from their tour as they field their playing XI in their final opportunity of the series.
