Touching down in New Delhi on July 4th morning, the Indian team’s schedule includes a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 11 am. Following this, the team will proceed to Mumbai. The BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla shared details of a grand ceremony at the National Centre for Performing Arts, followed by a parade.
The parade is set to commence at the NCPA with an open bus procession expected to extend up to the Wankhede Stadium for an estimated duration of two hours. During the felicitation between 7-7:30 pm, the players anticipate showcasing their victory to an enthusiastic audience before heading to their accommodation.
Team Captain Rohit Sharma took to social media inviting fans to join in the celebrations. Rohit extended an invite for a grand victory procession starting at Marine Drive and culminating at Wankhede Stadium from 5:00 pm onwards. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah also expressed a warm welcome to all fans for this celebratory event.
