Twenty-four teams remain in the competition, with eight teams in each class vying for a chance to advance to next week’s state finals.

Each semistate matchup will require teams to win two games in one day to secure their place in the championship. The matchups for the semistates were announced shortly after the regional finals concluded, with pairings split between northern and southern venues. All games will be played on Saturday, with matchups kicking off in the morning and concluding with finals in the evening.

The semistate venues include: North located at Elkhart, Logansport, Michigan City, and Lafayette Jeff, and South at New Castle, Southport, Seymour, and Washington. Each team is poised for the challenge, having demonstrated resilience and skill throughout the tournament.

Some standout performances from Saturday’s regional finals included Fishers defeating Harrison (West Lafayette) 89-39, South Bend Riley overcoming Warsaw 77-71 in double overtime, and Mt. Vernon’s dominant victory over Brownsburg with a final score of 74-40.

“The competition has really intensified as we move towards the finals,” said Fishers head coach. “We prepare every day for moments like this, and now it’s time to show what we’ve got.”
