Crytivo Autonomica Mech Game

LOS ANGELES, CA — After Electronic Arts (EA) reportedly canceled the latest project in the Titanfall series, indie developer Crytivo announced plans to fill the gap. This week, the studio revealed its own mech game titled Autonomica, sharing a captivating clip of gameplay on social media.

Crytivo’s announcement came shortly after news broke that EA was scrapping a new Titanfall title in development at Respawn Entertainment. In a surprising twist, the game was said to be an extraction shooter, which diverged from the franchise’s established formula.

“No new Titanfall? Fine. We built our own,” Crytivo stated, showcasing mechs reminiscent of those found in Titanfall but with a unique twist. Some mechs in Autonomica even feature bunny ears, adding a whimsical element to the gameplay.

Autonomica has already garnered attention, with its crowdfunding campaign raising over $500,000—well above its initial goal of $170,000—from nearly 6,000 backers. The game promises an open-world experience that combines elements of survival, farming, and life simulation.

According to Crytivo’s campaign description, players will “build automated farms, craft advanced machinery, and explore islands filled with mysteries, ghosts, challenges, and time-bending adventures.” The game will feature competitive modes including PvEvP extraction and thrilling ghost-hunting encounters.

Initially, Autonomica will launch on PC, with the team considering a release for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. The planned release date is set for sometime in 2026.

Crytivo is enthusiastic about creating a game that offers a fresh take on the mech genre, as well as experiences meant to connect players in a vibrant, interactive world.
