Inter Miami faced off against Tigres in a thrilling match that ended with a close score of 2-1 in favor of Tigres during the Leagues Cup. With this victory, Tigres secured their position at the top of Group East 3, eagerly waiting for their next opponent in the tournament.

The MLS team, Inter Miami, started the game with some promising moves, but they struggled to find the back of the net. Nahuel Guzmán, Tigres’ goalkeeper, showed his skills again as he was a key player after returning from injury in a previous match against Puebla.

Inter Miami had a couple of good chances, including a shot from Matías Rojas that went off target, and another attempt by Jordi Alba from outside the box, but still no goals were on the scoreboard.

Tigres didn’t wait long to make their mark, as Juan Brunetta scored the first goal of the match in the 18th minute. He received the ball on the left side of the penalty area and blasted a shot into the opposite corner, putting Tigres up 1-0.

Both teams fought hard for control, creating several opportunities, but neither could get the ball into the net again until Inter Miami got a penalty at the 74-minute mark, which Leonardo Campaña successfully converted to even the game at 1-1.

Tigres responded swiftly and regained the lead just ten minutes later, as Juan Pablo Vigón scored from a corner kick, making it 2-1. From there, the score remained unchanged, and Tigres celebrated their second win in the Leagues Cup.
