Iowa Hawkeyes Women's Basketball Game Action

SEATTLE, Wash. − The Iowa women’s basketball team will face another critical game without one of its top players as forward Hannah Stuelke remains sidelined due to a concussion. The Hawkeyes are set to take on Washington at 8 p.m. CT Wednesday in a bid to end a five-game losing streak.

Stuelke, a 6-foot-2 junior, suffered a concussion during last Thursday’s game against Nebraska and missed the team’s first West Coast game. Iowa head coach Jan Jensen described the injury as “a pretty bad one” following Sunday’s narrow 50-49 loss to Oregon.

With Stuelke out, Addison O'Grady is expected to start at the center position for the second consecutive game. The Hawkeyes (12-7 overall, 2-6 Big Ten Conference) are listed as 3½-point favorites against the Huskies (13-6, 4-3). The game will be streamed on Peacock.

Iowa’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday against Northwestern at 7 p.m. CT on BTN.
