HOUSTON, Texas – Isaiah Bond, the standout wide receiver from the University of Texas, is cementing his status as a top prospect ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft with multiple high-profile visits planned with several teams. Bond has official meetings lined up with the Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, and Tennessee Titans, as well as a local prospect day with the Atlanta Falcons.

Bond, who aimed to break the record for the fastest 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine, posted times that still impressed teams: a 4.39 seconds at the combine followed by even quicker times of 4.34 and 4.35 during Texas’ Pro Day. During the Pro Day, Bond showcased his exceptional route-running skills, highlighted by not dropping any passes while demonstrating impressive overall speed.

His visit to Buffalo is scheduled for April 15, following a private dinner with the team on April 10 in Austin. “They really took the time to get to know me and it was a great experience,” Bond said about his dinner with the Bills. According to NFL insider Aaron Wilson, Bond also had a Zoom meeting with the Houston Texans.

Through his college career at Texas and previously Alabama, Bond has proven to be a reliable player. Last season, he caught 34 passes for 540 yards, scoring five touchdowns. Throughout 41 games in his college career, he recorded a total of 99 receptions for 1,428 yards and 10 touchdowns. Additionally, he demonstrated versatility with five carries for 101 rushing yards.

In addition to his strong performance on the field, Bond achieved remarkable speed metrics, reaching a top speed of 24.17 miles per hour during the combine, making him the second-fastest player of the event. Only Kentucky’s Maxwell Harrison surpassed him, clocking in at 24.25 mph. “What separates me from the rest of the draft class is the sheer speed,” Bond stated. “There’s not a receiver that has the speed and capabilities that I have. I’m not just about speed; I have amazing routes, and that’s evident if you watch the tape.”

A former star at Buford High School in Georgia, Bond was a four-star recruit and the No. 43 overall player in the 2022 recruiting class. He initially committed to Alabama, where he made an impact in his freshman and sophomore years before transferring to Texas following the retirement of head coach Nick Saban. At Alabama, he racked up 17 receptions for 220 yards and a touchdown as a freshman and 39 receptions totaling 542 yards and four touchdowns as a sophomore.

Bond’s public profile is on the rise, particularly since he participated in 13 formal meetings at the recent NFL Scouting Combine, including interviews with teams like the San Francisco 49ers and New Orleans Saints. Scouts and coaches have lauded his reliable hands and athleticism, pointing to his ability to track footballs well while navigating sideline plays effectively.

With the NFL Draft just two weeks away, Bond’s exciting trajectory has drawn considerable interest from coaching and management within the league, positioning him as a key player to watch during the upcoming selection.
