Isaiah Pacheco’s journey from a seventh-round NFL draft pick to becoming a starting running back for the Kansas City Chiefs is a testament to hard work and talent.

Attending Rutgers, Pacheco, a native of Vineland, New Jersey, showcased his skills on the football field, proving to be a standout player for the Scarlet Knights.

Pacheco’s college career spanned from 2018 to 2021, during which he established himself as a dynamic running back with impressive stats and contributions to the team.

During his time at Rutgers, Pacheco recorded a total of 2,442 rushing yards and 18 rushing touchdowns, solidifying his impact on the field.

With offers from schools like Maryland and Syracuse, Pacheco ultimately chose Rutgers, where he would go on to make a name for himself in college football.

While Rutgers faced its share of challenges during Pacheco’s time there, including a combined record of 11-35, the team’s advancements in competitions like the Gator Bowl showcased glimpses of success.
