Ivica Zubac Shines in NBA Playoffs with Clippers

LOS ANGELES, USA – Ivica Zubac has emerged as a key player for the Los Angeles Clippers during the NBA playoffs, showcasing his skills after a standout season in the league.

The Croatian center has made a name for himself, averaging a double-double with 16.8 points and 12.6 rebounds per game this season. His performance earned him a three-year contract extension worth $58.6 million after he displayed dominance at the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

Once drafted by the Lakers as the 32nd overall pick in 2016, Zubac’s journey took a significant turn when he was traded to the Clippers in 2019. He is now recognized as a potential candidate for the Most Improved Player award.

However, he bounced back with 16 points and 12 rebounds in a 105-102 win in Game 2. Game 3 saw Zubac contributing 19 points, 9 rebounds, and a block as the Clippers won decisively 117-83.
