Jamari Thrash to Share Snaps with Kadarius Toney in Browns’ Monday Night Football Debut
Jamari Thrash, a backup wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns, is set to share playing time with newly activated Kadarius Toney in the upcoming Monday Night Football game against the Denver Broncos. This development comes after Cedric Tillman was ruled out due to a concussion, prompting the Browns to call up Toney from the practice squad.
Thrash, who has seen limited action this season, has recorded one reception on one target for 13 yards, participating in 13% of the offensive snaps. Despite his limited playing time, Thrash will be competing with Toney and another backup, Jaelon Darden, for snaps on the field.
Toney, who had a tumultuous stint with the Kansas City Chiefs, is making his debut with the Browns. He brings more experience than both Thrash and Darden combined, having 41 receptions on 55 targets for 340 yards and three touchdowns in his previous two seasons with the Chiefs.
The game will be an interesting test for all three receivers, as it remains to be seen who will capitalize on the opportunity presented by Tillman’s absence. Fantasy football enthusiasts are also closely watching this development, as it could impact lineup decisions for Week 14.
