Jana Duggar Ties the Knot

Jana Duggar just got married! The star from Counting On walked down the aisle in a beautiful ceremony in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, on August 15. Surrounded by 500 guests, the celebration was described as both classic and elegant.

Before her big day, Jana shared her excitement, saying, “I think it is one of those things that all girls envision someday.” At 34, she expressed that it felt unreal but was finally sinking in that her dream was coming true.

The wedding took place at The Grand at Willow Springs, with her sister, Jessa Duggar Seewald, serving as maid of honor. The bridal party featured several family members, including sisters Abbie Duggar, Joy-Anna Forsyth, Johannah, Jinger Duggar Vuolo, and Jordyn Duggar as bridesmaids.

Jana wore a stunning off-the-shoulder ivory satin ball gown, which made her feel classy and like a princess as her father, Jim Bob Duggar, walked her down the aisle. It was a special moment, especially since both Jana and her new husband, Wissmann, come from big families—Wissmann has 13 siblings!

Jana emphasized the importance of having her loved ones there, sharing, “Coming from two bigger families, we love to be able to get together and celebrate moments like these.”

The wedding news came shortly after In Touch confirmed that Jana and Wissmann were engaged. Their engagement was first hinted at when Jana shared a picture on Instagram in July, which showed a ring on her left hand.

Fans quickly speculated about the ring, with many asking if it was an engagement ring. “Is that an engagement ring on Jana’s hand? I sure hope so,” one follower commented.

Previously, Jana had mentioned that she wasn’t worried about getting married but was open to whatever life brings her way. She is the eldest daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and has been a part of the Duggar family TV shows since 2008.
