Jannik Sinner Roland Garros 2025

PARIS, France — Jannik Sinner is set to compete in the 2025 Roland Garros, aiming for his second Grand Slam title of the season. The tournament kicks off with the draw on May 22, and the main event starts on May 25, concluding with the men’s final on June 8.

After a three-month suspension due to a doping case, Sinner returned to action at the Masters 1000 in Rome, where he reached the finals but lost to Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz. Last year, Sinner reached the semifinals in Paris, also falling to Alcaraz, who eventually won the tournament by defeating Alexander Zverev.

The 2025 Roland Garros will showcase an impressive lineup of Italian players, including Sinner, Lorenzo Musetti, Matteo Berrettini, Flavio Cobolli, Matteo Arnaldi, Lorenzo Sonego, Luciano Darderi, Mattia Bellucci, and Francesco Passaro. On the women’s side, Jasmine Paolini, Lucia Bronzetti, and Elisabetta Cocciaretto will also compete.

As with every Grand Slam, the prize money is substantial. First round losers will take home nearly €100,000, while the champion can earn over €2 million. The breakdown is as follows: first round: €78,000, second round: €117,000, third round: €168,000, round of 16: €265,000, quarterfinals: €440,000, semifinals: €690,000, finalist: €1,275,000, and winner: €2,550,000.
