Jennifer Ellison Sas Who Dares Wins

Jennifer Ellison, known for her role in Brookside, has revealed insights into her sons’ reactions to a notable on-screen confrontation with Pete Wicks. The incident occurred during the 2022 series of the survival reality show Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. According to Ellison, the instructors had challenged her and Wicks to a physical fight, a scene that left both their marks physically and emotionally.

Despite the intense nature of the scene, Ellison, who is 41, stated that she was not personally troubled by the altercation. However, her three sons, aged 14, 10, and nine, exhibited a different response when witnessing their mother’s televised fight. Ellison remarked, “They were like, ‘Right, where is he? I’m going to get him,'” expressing the protective instinct of her children with a light-hearted laugh.

Wicks, who is 36, apparently felt remorse for the confrontation, visibly emotional afterwards, and promptly apologized to Ellison. Reflecting on the experience, Ellison emphasized her respect and fondness for Wicks, whom she described as “one of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life.” She further commented, “If you’re going to get punched by someone, make it Pete Wicks.”

Ellison also shared her admiration for the demanding nature of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, citing it as the most rewarding show she has participated in. “It was so horrific at the time,” she explained, “but for me, that show was probably the most rewarding show I’ve ever done.” The program, she acknowledged, pushed contestants to their limits, requiring constant engagement and endurance.

Away from her television career, Ellison is actively involved in the arts through her dance studio, which offers elite training in Dance and Musical Theatre. Nevertheless, she expressed a desire to return to acting in more dramatic roles and is set to play the role of Poison Ivy in an upcoming production of Jack and the Beanstalk at Venue Cymru, beginning in December.
